While still in my early teens, photography captured me. My high school fine arts teacher taught me the art of black and white film photography. Although I didn’t know it then, it was the first time in my life that being creative allowed me to be free.
Many years later, I’ve rediscovered the freedom of art and photography. I’m not a painter and my drawings are childlike. Cameras are my paintbrush, and the world is my canvas.
I live on the west coast of Lake Champlain, in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The great outdoors is where I like to be. Whether I’m hiking a trail, hunting from a tree stand, or riding my Harley Davidson, there is no place I’d rather be than outdoors.
You’ll see that most of my photographs are scenes captured outdoors. In the city or country, mountains or streams, that is where I find my peace.
If you are in New England, and you are looking for a photographer, please contact me. I enjoy photographing people in outdoor scenes. Weddings and other events are always exciting, and I’d be happy to capture your memories.
